Welcome Back!
As summer is winding down, I would like to send out early greetings to students and parents. I'm sure each of you has had a busy summer, and I hope you had an enjoyable one, too.
The Summer Program held at MSK was a great success thanks to Val Baker and Staff!
The change of focus in Room 13 to a more academic based program that began last spring will be continued in 2007-2008. Group activities have been replaced by math and language arts blocks, with each student working on his or her IEP goals. Students will bring home schedules by 9/11/07. Whenever a schedule is changed, you will receive a copy of the new schedule within one school day from the change. Individual work stations are being set up for each student. Please plan to stop by after September 4th to see the changes to the classroom!
I am very pleased to tell you that Peggi Vire, Regina Graydon, and Lisa Glidden are returning as Educational Technicians again this year! We also welcome Rebecca Lamb, who worked across the hall in Room 12 last year!
