It is with a great deal of regret that I announce Kent Chapman's resignation. Kent, Carina, Maddy and Carolyn are moving to California to be closer to family on both sides. Kent's mom has been ill, and he has been feeling very torn about living so far a way. While this was not entirely unexpected, and we are all happy to be supportive of this move for the Chapman family, it is a very sad day for Kennebunkport Consolidated School.
We will be developing criteria for the three/four multiage position and setting up an interview team to hire Kent's replacement within the next couple of weeks.
I know many of you will stay in touch with Kent and his family...they will always be a part of KCS.
