Advanced Placement Discussion with Martha Foley, Advanced Placement Coordinator at KHS
GATES Language Arts Teacher grades 6- 8, and AP Language Arts Teacher 9- 12
Martha will speak about what the AP program is, what AP courses KHS offers, the syllabus of each course, how many students are
involved, how our students have performed, and what benefits they might receive from AP work (college credit, etc....).
Presentation will be followed by a question and answer discussion.
Mamie Anthoine Ney, Assistant Director/Adult Services Librarian will display the Kennebunk Free Library’s own collection of books about
Gifted learners and how to support your child’s learning in an extraordinary way.
* Our meetings are learning based, and last one hour and fifteen minutes.
