We have been learning about Earth Day in class and what we can do to help the earth. Students wrote to convince others in the family what they can do to save energy or help the earth. This was a nice lead in to our core literature book, Miss Rumphius by Barbara Cooney. In this book Miss Rumphius is told that she had to do something to make the world a better place. Miss Rumphius planted lupine seeds. So beware if your child comes home and suggests different things that they can do to help the earth or make it a more beautiful place! Thanks!
