Please remember we are going to Harris Farm on Friday, September 22. It would help if students dressed in layers and wore old shoes or boots. Your child will be bringing home vegetables that they have harvested at the farm. Please send them to school with two plastic grocery bags with their names on them. We are discussing which vegetables grow underground and which grow above ground. Talking with your child about which parts of the vegetables we eat, identifying vegetables and what products are made from the vegetables would be wonderful. We will learn the words consumer, product, and learn that plants need water, sunlight and gases to survive.
