We are still a lively, busy bunch in room 15; I just can't seem to remember to blog or some days even how to get to the blog! We had a great visit from Chewonki telling us about bats. She even brought a Little Brown Bat (common in Maine) that we could observe as she moved around. Later that week we went to the Brick Store Museum to see the displays there and went into the attic where we saw thousands of items waiting to be shown. This was a great learning visit and so close by. We won't have any more field trips until February or later.
We are getting ready for our state projects. Posters of the chosen state will be made at home. We will send specific guidelines that will tell you what should be included on the poster.
A homework reminder: 20 minutes of reading, 10 minutes of math, 10 minutes of spelling, 5 minutes at least of + and - tables (Those that need this most don't seem to be doing it!)
