Imagination and Magic! Isn't that what this time of year is all about?! This month we will be exploring and creating fantastical creatures and places from our imaginations! The kindergarten children will be studying Paul Klee's renditions of buildings and they will be working with color to create castles. First grade and multiage students will be drawing and painting images of the tooth fairy! We will learn about mixing color to create secondary colors. Third grade students will be hand building with clay to create buildings from imaginative settings while Miss Miller's class will be drawing dragons and exploring texture and space. Ms. Pennington's class will be working on a project as an extention of a class report. They will be studying Audubon's wildlife paintings. Fifth grade and multiage students are excited to work with paper mache to create imaginative creatures! All students will be learning about color this month along with other elements of design!

Please come see our self portraits before the 6th when we will start to send them home- a great holiday gift!! Also some of our Native American studies are on display by the office. Those also will be coming home before the break. Thank you again for all your support.
