Community is the philosophy on which the Kennebunkport Consolidated School is built. We are a small school with a rich heritage, proud of our personal and caring atmosphere. As we serve kindergarten through grade five, we recognize that we are the first step in our children's public school experience. Our nurturing environment encourages students to take risks and provides a catalyst for intellectual, physical, social, and emotional growth. This is achieved by highly qualified personnel who are uniquely individual, yet consistent in their desire to provide a superior educational program for each student. Our intent is to create a school which is intellectually stimulating, while honoring the special qualities of childhood.

     Our role is to instill knowledge, encourage creativity, and promote inquiry in young minds. Our staff keeps current with new methods and practices through various means. Our curriculum is in a continuous process of revision to keep it updated, coordinated, and developmentally appropriate. We are committed to furnishing a program of quality academics and assisting all students in reaching their full academic potential as independent, responsible learners. The students, parents, and staff, are all integral parts of the Consolidated School community. In order that our school community may flourish, we encourage communication, cooperation, and respect among all parts. We believe all students should be encouraged, both at school and at home, to do their best in every endeavor.
